When the 2L students return from the Labor Day weekend they will experience the First Day of Law School similar to what is chronicled in Scot Turow’s One L. Students will read the recent Supreme Court decision of Burwell v. Hobby Lobby. They are expected to have read the majority, concurring and dissenting opinions. They must independently create a case brief which follows the IRAC format outlined last year. PDF copies of the case opinions can be found at the JBS 2l Wiki.
